Block the Trump administration's warrantless spying on Americans!

    Petition to Congress:
We urge you to oppose any bill to reauthorize FISA surveillance unless it closes the data broker and backdoor search loopholes.

In a lengthy Truth Social rant, Trump said he wants a "clean" extension of Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) — the law the federal government abuses to conduct warrantless mass surveillance on Americans.1

If Trump succeeds in extending Section 702 without any privacy protections, then Stephen Miller, Kash Patel, and the FBI can continue their warrantless searches through Americans' electronic communications.2 And Pete Hegseth can use AI to supercharge mass surveillance in America.3

Congress must ensure that Trump doesn't get his wish. A bipartisan group of lawmakers and over 100 organizations are mounting a fight against this warrantless government spying.

Sign the petition: Deny Trump a "clean" extension of Section 702 of FISA. Close dangerous surveillance loopholes NOW!

Federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies routinely exploit the "data broker loophole" to bypass privacy rights by purchasing our sensitive private information from data collection companies. They also use the "backdoor search loophole" to circumvent court orders and search through billions of communications.

The Trump administration now wants to use AI to collect and analyze "commercial bulk data on Americans, such as geolocation and web browsing data."4 It would be an uncontrollable, dangerous expansion of government surveillance.

Speaker Johnson recently abandoned a vote on Section 702 because a bipartisan group of lawmakers are demanding reforms.5 But some Democrats might still give Johnson, Miller, and Trump exactly what they want.

The vast majority of voters agree that Congress must pass reforms to the current warrantless government surveillance regime. Congress must stand for privacy and the safety of their constituents.

Sign the petition: No warrantless, AI-powered surveillance in America! Block reauthorization of FISA unless it includes protections for our privacy.
